Reintegration Center in Burkina Faso

In 2015, GRADE-FRB set up a reintegration center in Burkina Faso for young people who are victims of trafficking and exploitation.

Burkina Faso

The centre gives young people a safe place to stay and a chance to learn a trade. They can train as carpenters, motorcycle mechanics and seamstresses. The centre was set up by Madame Bernadette, a local human rights activist. Since 2015, the Chocolonely Foundation supports the centre to give young people who are victims of trafficking in the cocoa industry a chance to rebuild their lives.
