Chair of Social Entrepreneurship

This was the first Chair in Social Entrepreneurship to be established in the Netherlands. Together with two PhD students, Professor Hummels conducts research into innovation in the international value chain, starting with the value chain for cocoa. We conduct research into the cocoa supply chain of the future because we want to help shape a sustainable vision for the cocoa industry as a whole.
